Appreciate music.
You might just be happy downloading my songs from the web and have no need for fancy CDs. That’s cool. We live in a world where putting mp3’s online means people can download them free of charge. I’m happy to share my music, and am glad you like it enough to download, but if you really do love it, maybe you’d consider making a small donation to help me out. a song can take 30+ hours to make from start to finish (sometimes way more than that). So if you feel compelled to show your support, I’d be overjoyed with any token of appreciation you may want to contribute. I’m sure the amount of time I’ll be able to devote to writing music will become less and less as the years pass. It’s a reality that is hard for me to face, because writing music and opening a collaborative music/arts center are the only two things I ever want to do. Someday I hope to start a real fund raising effort for the arts center, but my current goal is to press a real album and get it mastered by a professional. I want to look back and know that I gave music a real shot. Not because I long for the limelight, but because I want to share my experience and ideas with others. It’s hard to keep truth and incite in front of your mind at all times. I know music can make this less difficult, if I didn’t I wouldn’t be writing it.
